Trading Table was an experimental project developed during a fellowship at Haystack in the summer of 2025, as part of Annie Evelyn's Party Furniture class. The goal was to create a piece of furniture that could facilitate interaction during Haystack's end-of-session party. Inspired by vintage shadow box displays, I created a gridded table that invited participants to place an object they had collected or made during their time at Haystack into one of the compartments, then exchange it for something left by someone else. The project encouraged conversation, exchange, and new connections between participants.
